Updates on the Cymrunian-Edelein Cold war

New Cymru Cartography Inc. begins large mapping project

Cartography Inc. has began the mapping of as many micronational claims as possible. The New Cymrunian company, decided to create the map, after a lack of visual micronational databases. It hopes to get 30 micronations on the map before 2020. This even includes Antarctic claims. The map will only include official and verified land claims, and will not accept exessive, fictional, digital or interstellar claims for obvious reasons. Neither the Emperor or company members commented on this endeavour. If you would like your micronational claims included, please contact: New Cymru #7840 on Discord, and include the name of your micronation and its claims. Visuals are recommended, to make it easier to map.

New Cymru begins long awaited reforms

 

Despite the war declaration above, New Cymru is forging ahead with reforms to make the nation better than it currently is. The Emperor said that: "Currently, New Cymru is a bit of a mess. Our flag indicates that we're a communist state, when we're a monarchy with little councils for each state. Its madness! As the Late David Bowie said once in a song, "Ch...Ch...Ch...Ch...Changes!"" Beginning from the 20th of June 2019, New Cymru is going to have a new flag, national anthem, political system, and many other changes.

Some changes include the Cancellation of projects that the country was once focusing on, but have since been confined to the bottom of the list. This includes the highly-controversial Project R.A.D and the countries own Airline.

New Cymru declined GUM membership

On Tuesday 18th June 2019, The GUM released their quorum. This showed that New Cymru's application had been declined due to the ongoing Cymrunian-Edelein Cold war. For while this doesn't affect New Cymru in any sense, it does act as an example of a repercussion due to this ongoing conflict. The Emperor, who is the speaker of the chamber for the largest Micronational organisation- the OAM, did not comment on this. It is unknown whether another bid will be placed at a later point.

New Cymru Rail Solutions releases plans for High-speed Carriage

New Cymru Rail Services has announced plans to build a rake of high-speed coaches for HS2: New Cymru. The £37.80 contract will modify existing Mark 4 coaches, initially designed by BREL of York and produced by Hornby. This includes fitting a tilting mechanism to each coach, a State of the art computer system tasked with onboard systems, an interior refurbishment including the fitting of a new disabled toilet on-board the train and more space for standing passengers and other systems. There is also plans for a sleeper coach version.

Other News

-Emperor Logan I took a visit to Terra on the 21st of June and began clearing his old den of weeds. This will provide as the base for the upcoming New Cymru Leage of Micronations. This will be covered in a later newsletter.

-On the 22nd of June, the National Rail Collection recieved its first locomotive, named "Crimson Streak." It has currently entered into Terra works for restoration.  This will also be covered in a later newsletter.
